Sharing / communicating information — especially converting complex science into more approachable forms without losing the message — is a big passion of mine! I am available to create or support communications strategy/narrative development, design and create original content, as well as edit and/or polish content.

I have experience in communications and digital media across a diverse set of formats and for a range of technical and non-technical audiences, including written content creation (blogs, op-eds, media pitches, technical reports, and social media), visual content creation (infographics and social media), video editing, and audio-visual presentations. Data can be pesky nowadays—there’s a lot of it, in a lot of different forms, and it can quickly become unwieldy. If you have data management or analysis needs, I can provide support! I am comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative datasets, whether you have tens of datapoints in need of some quick sorting in Excel, or thousands of entries requiring code-based manipulation.

I am happy to organize your data into more useable forms, including database creation, but also to find the stories and insights in your data by putting together the pieces using technical analysis, and reporting it back in approachable forms.

One of my big interests is strategic development and operational process/evaluation. In other words, I really enjoy developing goals, creating a plan to reach those goals, and evaluating and iterating/adjusting along the way.

With all of the difficult crises we face today, ensuring the work we do enacts change in the world is critical, and one key component is knowledge mobilization. Above and beyond general communications, knowledge mobilization efforts take place at the onset of a project, putting information impact at the heart of the work's design and outcomes.

I have experience evaluating knowledge mobilization efforts of academic research projects from qualitative and quantitative perspectives, and am available to support knowledge mobilization within your work!
